instead of sending ur radio to have it looked at... try another radio first.. most LHS will let u try another radio to see if it is the problem

Holy cow! Lots of new pics, posts and questions. Love it!

Here's my little project. Don't laugh, I'll be getting a good digital cam. soon. Until then, this is the best I can do.

The swaybar is from an old Neo I used to have.

Here's the other part of the project I've been working on. Works great! Prevents "C" arms from being twisted back and also helps eliminate some slop.

I also tried to boil the hub carriers to soften them up a bit so they aren't too brittle but sorry folks, no luck. I had to upgrade to alluminum, and now it's bullet proof. Thanks Chrisman.

The hubs are allowing too much travel before it meets the steering stops on the "C" arms. Any grazing of the wheel with a board will yank on the wheel too far before the stops get to act. Result, broken hubs.

Next I will try to find a way to reduce steering travel. This will not hurt the performance of the car since it has a ton of steering. Will keep you all in the loop.

Monsoon- Too bad you pulled a no show. We could have had 5, count them 5!!! 7even out on the track. Melvin picked one up. Glad to have you aboard.
We also made a team decision minus 1 is still a majority...right? The new team body will be the Nissan Primera! What do you think?
You comming next week? Is my bulkheads done?

Cmotif- If your batts. are moving around, try adding some foam to the bottom of your batt. brace. This will snug up your batts. without the graphite cutting into them.

7even racer- Your problem involves both channels of the reciever(steering and speed). The only common denominator of these two things are your reciever and radio.
First try replacing your crystal. Check to make sure the cystal legs are making a good contact inside the slots in your reciever. I've had broken reciever legs before, or just a bad crystal(set).
Second, check the esc and servo wires that go into your reciever. Any exposed wiring will pick up interference and cause glitching and if it is sometimes touching the graphite thats bad news.
Third, borrow a reciever to try or have a (radio compatible) buddy try your reciever to see if your reciever itself is at fault.
Lastly, if all else fails, do what Monsoon suggests and borrow or have someone try your radio out. It's a process of elimination and by trying out different equipment or heving someone else try it for you, you will find out which part is the problem without the downtime of waiting for it from warranty repair. Good luck.

Type S- It's really a matter of taste and preference. Now days any new car with a good driver can win on any given race. Here we love the 7even!

Jack_L- Good pics. man. Why is everyone going backwards?

chrisman- I think you should post the one of jzone. he he he. Dumping sucks doesn't it? Next time I'll remember to tighten my wheel nuts. Nice red, I'll have mine in green please.

Hi RCLAB,

Thanks for the comment.I have a friend that does this for a living and have the right equipment to do it right.I helped him prep the parts. It did not take him a long time to do the whole car.Very interesting how all manufactures uses the same way of anodizing parts..Cheers.
