But in a way that is happening. Have you seen the Trans Am Thread? I could see some sort of SCCA racing that uses TC chassis with appropriate shells, and authentic wheels.

Well Ive won some and Ive lost some. Im out there to have fun, which it seems is the lost point of this HOBBY. If I get paid to win, I'll worry about it, but there have been times Ive had more fun RACING for 4th place with another evenly matched driver/car than I have winning. When my skill is so great with this hobby that I notice that the downforce from one body to the next then maybe I'll worry. Im out to have fun though, not be the National Champion of the World. As for why the cars are 190mm wide, my thought is Tamiya made it that way and the others said "Eh, why not?"

Yeah I know. Talk about irony, the company that pretty much started the touring car revolution and their bodies, which are the best IMO, arent ROAR legal.
