This has nothing to do with customer service/support/returns. It has to do with price and a few other stuff.

So all of you are saying that Venom is not going to give good customer support because they are charging a bit less money for the same product Schumacher is selling?

Now now folks, play nicely.

Until someone does a full comparison of the 3 ESC's then its impossible to tell which one is the best. The cases for the 3 are the same except for different colour but there could be a few tweaks in either of them that sets them apart from the others.

Customer support is very important, if 1 ESC cost's a little more but you get better support then for most people that will be enough.

Schumacher backs Speedpassion 100% and on this forum are not shy to help out and answer any questions that get thrown at them. Not only does it give them more sales but people with simple questions know they can get support directly from the importer.

Venom needs to pull their finger out their butt, come on here (or a similar site) and push their service as well. Maybe because we don't hear from them we and not so keen on their products even though they are cheaper.

Hobbywing..... chances of seeing them here are next to nothing. Providing good customer service is not normal from many Chinese companies. Eventually they will learn but seeing Hobbywing are probably busy servicing their trade customers and looking at that side of the business more than pushing their Xerun line at the moment. (edited, thought it was a Xenom)

Just my 2 mao, feel free to flame me

I was just teasing. It's good to see all the enthusiasm for SpeedPassion, it's refreshing to find so much online support from the folks a SchUSA. I may borrow one to try, it seems like a lot of locals here like the SP stuff.

I've seen a Hobbywing one on Taobao (Chinese auction site) for around a similar price to the Speedpassion one.

The link in the first thread goes to the rcfans site who did a review on it. It's in Chinese so use a translator...... preferably a cute one who isn't in a hurry to run out shopping.

Talking not exactly the same

Just looking at the three speed controls in question
The Speed Passion GT hand held controller still has more
adjustment, The HW only does the very basics(3 functions), the Venom
one doesn't look like it gives u much if any control of
the DRRS settings (mild to servere setting) whether it's software or hardware it's a difference! Speed Passion Quote 180amp Cont current the others only say or do 120amp models! They also have a 2.5 turn motor in there line up which they say there speedy can run, also backup/aftersales service is everything and it's not cheap for companies to do!!
The wire outputs on the side of the HW is different to the speedpassion (all the motor wires r together with battery inputs on the outside
maybe different circuit design), the venom is looking alot like the HW, The HW and venom use the same switch the SP is different

my 2 cents worth or more!!

Speed Passion is not a manufacturer of anything .. they are simply a label. They source companies that make products and put labels on them ... Feogao and Hobbywing are two examples

They are smart operators as they then block access to those manufacturers to most other distributors ... a smart move

Although SpeedPassion is a brand on there own they are working in conjunction with Feigao and Hobbywing to design and bring new products to the market.
From what i have been told there are differences between the SP, Venom, Orion and Hobbywing esc's not only in looks but quality of components and features.
I also have to agree that support, back up and product knowledge is what sets apart some brands even though they might have the same or similar products.
Schumacher USA is really awesome for this.
