Son decided he wants to run the 68 or 69 camaro body now that he has his chassis. Which 1 you guys recommend. Ive seen 1 that just looks awful with bad body lines, so dont want. Just cant remember which it was. Cant hunt the net right now cause last weeks tornado has us without cable or internet, and aggrevating to surf with phone

The VTA class was fun to watch at mikes, I was there practicing off-road and came over there to talk to Spenc while I watched! Makes me wanna build one! Is it going to be a steady class at Mikes? After running boosted sedan and 13.5 12th before, I think the same speed of everyones car would be fun!!

The Parma '69 Camaro is an attrocious blob.

The HPI '68 Camaro is pretty good, and their '69 Camaro looks pretty good (haven't actually held one, but it's HPI fer cryin' out loud!)

We re planning for it to be an every week class. Seems to be a lot of interest. And there are several guys with VTA cars that dint race this past weekend. So the class is already growing. I'm probably not racing this weekend, but plan on everywhere weekend. And now that we are switching.g to Saturdays, more people will see it and maybe join the fun too. Jump on over with us.

Thats awesome! I think maybe I will have to build one, and since it is on Saturdays now... I can run boosted Sedan and VTA while my bro sports his 22 over on the offroad side! Are they doing a track change this week? I heard a couple of guys talking about it, but was not for sure.

I haven't heard if they are changing track or not.

no clue on the setup side i think it is the euro setup due to the yellow springs on it.

Gearing i do know a little something though. 42/100 64p will get 4.05 and change on the fdr.

Does the width (track) and wheel base fit a typical 1/10th RC 4wd chassis and HPI tires?

I have a vac machine. Maybe I will try and find one (72 T/A) if it "fits".

It's actually mounted on an HPI pro3 in that pic.

Made some updates to the MVTARC (Mike's VTA Racer's Club) web page. Now there are 5 video clips, a driver roster, and a race results page with a PDF link showing the top page of all 3 Qualifiers and the Main. Go here and check it out:
