Just bought a new VTA brushless setup, gonna try it out this weekend.
I noticed you could build a ballistic with the extra options but if you follow rules its really no different than just ordering one

The Associated 31305 ends may help, they give a little extra clearance by going 'topless'.

I just finished fixing this issue. I am new and didn't know about the spacers that others spotted (good eyes) and they were the problem. The reason they were used is because previous owner used to long of screws. They used the spacers to make up for the screw length. Thanks for the help.

He may have had the shims there to adjust the rear roll center.

Glad it worked out for you. Something that works for a lot of us with TC5's in VTA is to set it up to the stock rubber set up and adjust for personal driving style from there. You can find it here:

Hope that helps.

We started with TC5's in VTA last year and did the same. It's a good starting point, as mentioned. The other big thing that helped was getting the car balanced correctly... an offset lipo cradle will help a bunch with that if you don't already have one.

Ok, been wrapping up my VTA and went to drop the body on and noticed the rear tires rubbing on the body! Running a HB TCX with standard narrow front tires/wide rears and an HPI Camaro body. Body is slammed but when I raised it u a little it still seems like it's going to hit.

Any tips?

They're gonna rub..don't freak out

Almost every body rubs the front or back tires.
