On carpet I simply omit the traction compound from the outer 1/4 of the front tire. That takes care of the traction rolling for me.
I'm going to take this approach first, move to the glue if I have to. Also curious on the glue type preffered if it's required.

I am not saying that the type of superglue you use has any effect on performance. That I know of. One should stop traction rolling just as well as another its just that the thin stuff is typically used because it rolls around the inside of the bead really well and the thick stuff is better for "painting on to the sidewall of the tire".

you can probably check out speed passion - assuming you're referring to the ROAR nationals and not the USVTA nationals

I'm sure epic might make one as well

Hi all....just stopping in to remind anyone in the Northeast, that we are including USVTA at our SLowbirds event at Horsham R/C in Horsham Pa next Sunday the 29th....

We have a good heat so far on our roll call, and hope to see more! Gonna be streaming the race here, so hope you can tune in....

Also gonna have a "special" USVTA concourse too....

Only the Novak 25.5 is approved for USVTA. Save yourself some time and money just get a 25.5 Novak ballistic and be done.

Here's a pic of my home-made driver and shoulders. The head came from an old HPI Super F1 body. The shoulders are made out of some pieces of mounting tape. Also notice the 8-spoke VTA rims that I dyed yellow!
