Yeah, I don't think Chevy made any right-drive camaros, and the writing is backwards as well, its definitely a mirror image.

Fill out your signup sheet in the mirror and mail it in. That'll really jack with them.

Could be Australian. They have to have right hand drive to be legal. (Thats the way it was a few years ago I might be outdated) Saw a really nice 70 Mach 1 that had been converted. to RH.

I agree it is a mirror.

No. That was a Monero. Half Malibu, half Camero.

If they made this body VTA legal, I'd be on it in a minute.

Yeah, it's expensive, but it's bomb!

That is one of the coolest looking cars. Doubt that it will become vta legal but it makes me want to get one "just because"

Anyone hear any rumors about a 67-69 cougar body? I would love to run one.

I wish HPI would make a firebird based off their 68 Camaro body. Im a Pontiac fan and my first car was a 69 Firebird.

Here is a copy of the flier....

Just a couple questions....

If going by USVTA Official rules how come the 20 min VTA A mains?

The main reason I ask is because my next question....isnt 20 min kinda high for electric? This isnt a dig, its more of a ill-informed I guess question, as I wasnt sure we could even run that long without draining a lipo. If so whats the lowest Mah that could go that long in general? I am all for as much race time people can get, just technically confused i guess lol.

Generally speaking you'll have plenty of power for 20 minutes with a 5000mah pack on 25.5 motors. I've never really paid much attention to my drainage rate, but it's pretty low for standard 8 min. mains.

Ok whats the minimum Mah someone would need to go 20 min? I too have never paid attention to the drainage so got me wondering.

I dont know if Socko still has the nose pieces to convert the Camaro shell to Firebird or not. I think he only made a few for himself. But I heard that Dirla had possesion of one.

My Thunderpower takes about 1200mha after running ten minutes in my VTA car, BUT, that doesn't mean it will take 2400 over twenty. After the stator gets saturated (warms up), it can't pass as much current, so the second ten minutes will take less mha.

Last August, I ran the Kimbrough 4:00 (1s 17.5 no timing outdoor concrete oval) in weather about 106. My first time on the track, I wanted to run 4 minutes and STOP so I could get temp. So I set the timer on my phone for 4 minutes and got after it. I ran a 5.6 and then tapered to like 5.8s, and just kept at it running 5.8's for what seemed like the longest four minutes of my life. Finally, I just gave it up and pulled off. I pull out my phone and it reads 3 HOURS 45 minutes and 10 SECONDS left....temp was at 145, battery took 400mha extra to run the last 10 minutes over what it took to charge for a four minute run. Once it got hot, it just stopped pulling current.

I'd like to run until I hit the lipo cutoff some time just to see how far I can go on a single charge.
