I would never protest if that showed up to race, but I hear they handle worse than the pack of legal shells. Love the Pantera too.

Brakes in VTA racing???? Never had the need for them

The SP ESC does need to be set a bit higher in the drag brake setting compared to the others, but never felt like I needed more than what I have set.

Hard for me to say. I don't have enough experience. What I do like about that Corvette body is that it fits the TC3 RPM bumper perfectly on the front, and the roundness of the front rarely catches on any bumpers or seams around the track. The HPI 66 Mustang that I was running, man, that front end caught on everything and tore it up quickly!

Of course, I'm not supposed to be in CONTACT with the wall, or other objects, but I keep breaking that rule for some reason.

This is when that 66 Mustang body was new. Doesn't look nice anymore! You can see how the front corner could tear back much easier.

I'll have to post a picture of my 68 Camaro that I have ran since March. If it were not for duct tape it would be missing half the passenger side front fender.

I have new body ready to go but it's not having an out till the concourse at the..USVTA SOUTHERN NATIONALS in NASHVILLE baby.

That's for you darkside

I'm pretty hard on bodies...I've had an AAR cuda, camaro, and the GT 350...

which one holds up the best? the camaro had by far the least problems for me because the front bumper is a little more rounded...

anyone find one any more durable?

if you are that hard on bodies, then they all are gonna last about the same...
the protoform J71 is fairly durable, plus it comes with a replacement nose that can be shoe-goo'ed/screwed on...

best body i've had is a tie between the original camaro and the GT350 (original run of the bodies, back in '99-ish), coming in a close 2nd would be the protoform J71

You can save some of the scrap lexan from the wheel wells and such to make gussets. They can be shoo goo'd in after the paint has cured. I have heard that air duct tape with the foil in it works well. Mine always split in the corners, but I am pretty happy with the way this last one has held up.

Hpi camaro or Pegasus Mustang, only because they are 1 piece...

I think the HPI 68 Camaro is top as far as durable...it last a long time...but with some Goo...the HPI 65 Mustang can hold his own as well...this is my body from winter 2007...and it still gets track time

1st pic is from MCC 2008....2nd and 3rd are recent, last month
