Any hints, any hints at all?

This should satisfy the need for a hint !!! We're just not sure what a really white guy in stretchy pants wearing a fanny pack and doing a pygmy war dance means !!!

I'm putting together a VTA car now and I saw on the VTA site that the correct motor is a 25.5 but I keep seeing a 21.5 listed as a VTA motor on forums and in sale ads. My local track also lists a 21.5 as the right motor. Was there a recent change over from the 21.5 to the 25.5? How much faster is the 21.5?

Thanks,

Pete

The old rules for VTA required the 21.5 motor. As of September 2010 the rules changed to the 25.5. See the website for the new rules. www.usvintagetransam.com.
The ads your seeing are just people selling the old motors in order to get updated or they're moving into a higher class. Individual clubs can run whatever motor combo they wish. The 21.5 IS faster than the 25.5. The real difference can be seen if your rules allow for open esc's or not. IMHO, everybody should go 25.5.....it's just right for close, close, close VTA racing.

Hey guys, please quit complaining about new bodies. Be happy that the manufacturers even considered a new body for our Class. It is around 14 current bodies ,that's a lot. Just be patient and keep a positive attitude, thanks

I have not seen anyone using the stamped looking wheels. Only the Cragar looking ones.

As far as bodies go, what was in the 70's TA circuit that is not available in Lexan? Javelin and More Cuda Variants, A Decent 70 Camaro, Decent 70 Mustang and a Falcon. Anything else?
