This week we are releasing 6 new combos with the GTB2:

. GTB2 / SS pro 25.5T--USVTA (includes Traxxas battery (??), bullet motor plugs, low-profile heat sink, no fan, and smaller trans-cap module) $159.99

. GTB 2 / SS Pro 8.5T Traxxas (includes Traxxas battery, bullet motor plugs, low-profile heat sink, no fan, and smaller trans-cap module) $159.99

GTB 2 / SS Pro 17.5T Traxxas (same)

GTB 2 / Ballistic 13.5T (no plugs, low-profile heat sink, no fan (?), and smaller trans-cap module) $169.99

GTB 2 / Ballistic 17.5T (same)

. GTB 2 / Ballistic 550 4.5T combo for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 (includes Traxxas mounting plate and 32P gear. Standard HS/fan.

The GTB2 w/LP/HS should look like this. When used with a spec motor (8.5T and above) this GTB2 configuration is perfect. I would like to offer this GTB2 "Spec" version in our store.

My biggest complaint about the gtb?? It didn't fit on my chassis at all (cyclone tc) and the damn cap was big and annoying to find a mounting point... The SP fits decently where I needed it so it works

Does the gtb2 have a lower profile then the gtb? Even with a fan??

If you get the GTB2 spec version can you convert it back to a regular GTB2??
Thanks for the above information

I was using it all the time until I got the GTB2. They honestly are close enough that the feel is very similar. I don't think there is a ton of "magic" to be had without timing/boost.

That's why you have to run an interior dude. Jeez

Thanks for any further information

What do you mean by updating? You just pointed out there are 2 Novak speedos available. The other items fit the rules, and if you can get a used one for cheap, more power to you.

Can't say exactly, but 110-120 grams is close and probably on the heavy side.

Updating the list of legal speedo's that you actually buy new is what i mean by UPDATING THE LIST.

The list includes the legal speedos. It will not be "updated" since the speedos are legal, even if not currently made.

Yes, the only difference is the HS/fan; we install the larger HS on our standard GTB2s and include the fan. The standard configuration has this additional protection because racers may be using these GTB2s with much hotter motors---3.5T, 4.5T (Ballistic 540s) or Ballistic 550s in SCTs.

Doug, I just finished these two last week. The Pegasus comes in at 134G and the 69' is 154G's with the HPI trophy truck inserts. The 68' will run around 120 with no driver or shoe goo.

Thumbs up

Thanks Eric, much appreciated. Making weight is NOT an issue at all, and shouldn't be for just about anyone.
