I ran 17.5 TC for the first time Sunday (changed my vta ride over ) and I will say I had a really good time. The R/Car guys are great and it was fun watching my son run VTA for a change of pace.

Default THUNDER JAM 3

Got my bodies and hpi driver trays in. Can't wait to paint them up.

And once again if any of you VTA guys are looking for a good race this Sunday. Thunder jam is the place to be. Turn out is looking really really good for vta. As well as.tc and 12th scale.
50% payback

DARKSIDE, please post pics of your new bodies with the HPI driver trays installed once you get them all painted up. I've been thinking about the new Proline driver interior for my car; but I want to see what the HPI one looks like before I do anything.

oh you know I will...trying to be cool....but its been 20 degs here in Nashville for a high..and the wifey dosent allow me to paint in the garage anymore since over spray got on her yellow Ninja....

just fyi...if you didnt want to put both guys in the same car...it will make two seperate trays for two different bodies...thats a combo ppl...and just looking at them...its awesome...

+1 again HPI...even if it wasnt for us directly..lol

Looking forward to seeing it. I'm also planning on getting the HPI chrome wipers, side mirrors and exhaust pipe kit for my car as well to complete the look.

Still waiting for them to have their new '66 Mustang Coupe body in stock; still showing as "out of stock" on the website.

The HPI part I'm thinking of is the part#85527 Body Accessories Set, Chrome for the Cup Racer. Everything is chrome and seems to be more appropriate for Vintage Trans Am than the tuner set. It comes with chrome wipers, both bullet style and flat panel style side mirrors and a chrome exhaust tip.
