I'm sure it will be obvious by the speed that I'm not running a 10.5! I hope I put this in the right forum. New to VTA and touring cars.
Neither our SS Pro or Ballistic 25.5 motors have specific colors designating the wind; this is because ROAR does not include 25.5 as a approved spec motor. In the early days of BL motors, we selected different colored rings to identify the different approved spec wind motors---most motor mfgs followed our color scheme. I think that most other companies have discontinued the practice. If you wish to see the colors, click on the winds in the drop-down menu:

Ballistic Spec Hand-Wound Stators

We group the 25.5s into our "Specialty" wound stator category; motors for which there is no official usage, especially in the US:

We have just added the RMF SS Pro 25.5 motor to our special USVTA store section. Since we have both the RMF Havoc 2S and this motor, we will soon be combo-ing them up into a RMF Havoc 2S/SS Pro 25.5 combo (est: 104.99):

Novaktwo do you have side by side photo of the GTB and RMF Havoc? How does the performance compare to the GTB2? Thanks

Oh it's re manufactured, never mind. Seems it's going to be awhile before we see something small for VTA.

The only thing I every adjust is the Drag Brake. Usually on the 4 or 5 setting depending on the layout, 95 x 45 carpet.

Mongoose Micro Brushless/Brush ESC
Since I already have one that was my original plan.. but it wasn't on the VTA list.

I never thought to suggest it for USVTA approval, although it probably qualified as being a non-timing/non-PC up-dateable controller. If anyone has tried it with our 25.5T motor, you can PM me your impressions.
