I've never seriously raced a silver can, but I have driven them.

I'd say 25.5 (unboosted of course) would be very similar in top speed to a silver can. Driving feel is little bit different though, being brushless the 25.5 just feels a lot smoother and would likely be easier to turn good laps with.

That's interesting. I'm taking your post to mean that they ran these three motors together in the same class. I can see the black can and 21.5 together but in my experience, the silver can would be noticeably slower. Thanks for the good info.

Uh guys, it's here #104669 RTR Sprint 2 Sport with 1969 Camaro Body. HPI finally is whole heartedly supporting VTA. We now have an RTR that only needs a motor and ESC change to be VTA legal.

THANK YOU HPI

Guys that run TCS have no qualms about buying a kit just for the one event. Usually there are several offerrings that come with the appropriate gear. Besides you can usually get a Tamiya plastic tub TC with an ESC for less money than most brushless ESC's. I'm just saying that guys who do that already know what they are getting into. The money for the kit is a small deal in the general price of racing.

And thanks HPI for introducing a new body to go along with your new chassis With all the interesting cars that you could have replicated, is this the best you could do?

On a positive note, the gear diffs do look interesting.

I fully support HPI with my dollars more than I care to think. Just want them to know that the demand is there for some different bodies. If they make a Challenger or Javelin, I'll support them even more.

I don't know what's involved in the molds, manufacturing, and licensing of a new body style but I imagine there is a lot of hoops to jump through to get new bodies to the market. However, I do believe that an initial manufacturing run on Javelin and Challenger bodies would sell out instantly. I will take one of each please.

Oh, and throw in a 1969 Dodge Dart while you're at it. Come on HPI, help us out. I'm tired of the same old same old in VTA. I run a Parma Mustang body just because so few others have them. Not very scale but extremely durable and most of all, different than what everyone else has.

looking to paint another body for another season of VTA, and this will be the first body I have done where it already has the masking film sprayed on.

Anyone got some tips for working with it? Removing parts of it with what tool, etc?

may do another police car
