We offer three factory re-manufactured escs (with full new factory warranty) listed on the special store section we established to feature our USVTA products. Our low on resistance (0.00040) GTB is now 79.99; our Havoc 2S has always been 59.99.

We also maintain a comprehensive Trade-In program for our electronics that allows our USVTA customers to replace, exchange or upgrade items at any time---even the special blue sleeved, USVTA 25.5 motors.

Havoc 2S Nine Programming Parameters

With the new rules is the LRP Sphere TC spec no allowed? If it's okay to use, what profile am I limited to?

they may not be allowed in the official rules, but check with your local track and see what they decide on allowing speedo-wise

if its allowed at your local track, here is a good guide line to follow, its what we used at the Scale Nats this year

USVTA will be the CURRENT rules on the website with the following
No one ways - diff or spool only

Tekin max Vegas 200 NO TURBO
Mamba pro NO CHEAT MODE
LRP SPX profile 4
LRP TC Spec profile 6
LRP SPHERE Comp profile 6

KO BMC TBD
SpeedPassion Software versions 091231 and any software start with 10XXXX are illegal
No Black diamonds whatsoever
Final ESC rules will be announced before the race...will be very similar to Novak race, timing may be restricted as well

Does this mean you think these are identical in performance? From an engineering standpoint and the amount of timing advance they provide these are not even close and should not perform the same.

It is very difficult to match up performance anywhere in the middle. The only place there is reasonably fair performance from the esc's is at the extremes. Turn all the timing advance off, or use all the features to get max performance from the motor.

Our 3 new controllers---Havoc Pro SC, Kinetic 2S and Kinetic 1S---were all specifically designed to comply with ROAR's new Sportsman Division rules. They all have "timing off" settings w/signal LED. Please add the two 2S escs to your list.

Please re-send your email and send it to me by PM. We are in the midst of summer vacations, so we are kind of short-staffed. I will see if we can (at least) get the dealer application to you soon.

If that works out on the track we cannot argue, but that is still not technically equal in engineering terms. Hard to really find a performance match somewhere in the middle of the adjustments for multiple products.

We encourage everyone to find a setup that works for them with 208. There are other improvements behind the scenes that improve reliability in version 208. It has a spec mode with flashing led indicator and all the same adjustments as previous versions. Vegas 208 should work great for everyone.

Ok, just so there is no confusion here, what DARKSIDE posted is OLD INFORMATION. In fact, it's not even real USVTA rules, but it was used for a few events. That was used by a few races last winter as an attempt to be somewhat equal, but it is not by any stretch of the imagination a perfect solution. There was basically mass confusion because ESC technology lurched forward all at once, and no one, at any level was ready for it.

So basically, PAY NO ATTENTION.

Here are the new rules:

he races at my track and I've been trying to do that for the last 2 years he has raced

sorry batty had to go there

my track locally is going by 0 timing rule and 5.2fdr for 21.5 and 4.2 for 25.5 trying to make it a total beginner class and to weed out the fast guys that cherry pick with a slow class and then run TC stock spec so that the jump is not as abrupt. I know this isn't the VTA rules but as I still had guys that didn't have the money for brushless and were buying the $5 stock motors I had and running 8.0 gear on it I can't justify the rules change yet. but as I'm not allowing anything that isn't 21.5 or 25.5 hopefully it will allow some people to pickup the equipment by next year.
