Does anyone know if the Speed Passion Cirtix Stock Club Race speed control (PN# 12280) is being considered as a legal option for VTA racing this fall? I won one recently and would like to use it to free up my Tekin RS for a different class. If not, then I have a Novak GTB ready to go when I get my Novak 25.5.

My understanding is that the SP Cirtix Stock Club has zero degrees of timing built into the speed control. I know that the only things that you can adjust on the speed control are brakes and lipo cutoff (using a computer or SP programming card designed for this specific speedo).

Drove one the other day in 17.5 RCGT.

I'd swear that it's the equivalent of a Havoc or GTB. However, i don't make the rules. Somebody'd have to do the testing to qualify what it looked like to me.

I went a little stiffer on springs all the way around. Seems less weight is being thrown around to break the traction on the VTA tires.

I agree 100%!! Since we are aiming at the REALISM thing I did mine up with a whole interior...shag carpet, velvet seat covers, fuzzy dice, the whole shebang!!! LOOKS SWEET!!!

You forgot the custom 8 ball shifter knob...

----------

My initial resistance to a driver or interior was availability. However with a little effort there are a few good options available that are relatively inexpensive.

also, once v208 is loaded onto a Tekin RS, you loose the ability to adjust anything other then break, throttle curve and it flashes ...plus the v208 version of Hotwire does not include the same options as the other version - so v203 is no longer an option to load

so hopefully that is being considered as well.

Tekin already was I thought. Don't the rules state only non adjustable/updateable esc's?
