Sharpie is the easiest way to color the non-chrome VTA wheels above. Buy a Sharpie/permanent marker with a thin tip on one end and a thick tip on the other. Only takes a few minutes to color one wheel. Keep a Sharpie mini in your pit box for touch ups. A Q-tip with body wash will clean up any mistakes.

---------

As far as having pre-mounted wheels for a special event, I would suggest contacting HPI directly and see if they can provide pre-mounts. This would certainly save a local track the time of having to mount wheels.

After receiving the tires, someone could perform some basic tire prep on each set and seal in a zip-lock bag.

I hear ya. Unfortunately if they did it would probably be on only one wheel choice, like 5-spoke chrome or some such. To do pre-mounts on ALL the different wheel types and finishes would be WAY too many sku's for either HPI or their dealers to hassle with.

So we continue to glue 'em. I got lucky with this last set for my 'Cuda...one of the locals just started 1/12 racing and wanted his 8 pairs of tires trued to "race size". I trued his tires and he glued my tires/wheels and did a darn fine job of it. I'm probably needing some new fronts...I wonder if he needs any more tires trued...

I thought I saw Robk on Thunder's LiveRC feed and that just didnt seem right. Not like it couldnt happen, just that it wasnt where I was used to seeing him. Maybe that was when you guys were in Ohio last week. By the way how did that go?

Hi guys.

I am setting up 2 VTAs for my 7yo and I, and would appreciate spme help in getting a head start with chassis setup on a T2'008 Rubber , and an FTTC4. If anyone has a stable setup for these cars, and is willing to pass it on, I would be very greatful.

Thank you
