In that case....WELCOME TO FLORIDA !!! Yep, we run a RCGT program using the VTA motor/batt/fdr rules. Really makes things simpler, more affordable and marketable when the same car can be used for both weekends. Change tires and body..maybe make some subtle setup changes and away you go !!

BTW..the offer was serious. If anybody comes down this way on vacation please feel free to give us a call. I might be able to help with hotel plans since the Jamison Inn is right across the street and they seem to be willing to offer a bit of a discount if you're staying because of a Harley event.

How bad of a driver are you...lol...I think the GA area has plenty of VTA/on-roaders that would love to take a shot at $500 with only a $30 entry

I am going to do some trans-am racing. I have a couple of questions. Is there any place you can see the a picture of the Pegasus Hobbies trans-am bodies? Secondly, has anyone looked at the McAllister street stock bodies for the Camaro, Mustang, and Barracuda as possible choices for the series? Thanks

This link is for the painting and discussion thread and you should be able to find some of the bodies from pegasus in there.

As for the McAllister bodies I believe that they didn't fit right on the TC chasis and wouldn't be approved. That was before a change in the governing body took place however.

Last time i looked the McAllister bodies were 235mm type bodies- way too wide. I think they may have been meant for old pan cars or buggies.

robk - You're probably right. The McAllister new Mustang, Camaro, and Cuda bodies are 9" wide which makes them too big. I think that's just under 230 MM. They're made for the Bomber chassis. That's too bad, because you can order directly from McAllister at a reasonable price and the bodies are durable.

So i just bought a video camera ad was trying to race and video tape use the tripod etc.

All in all this is the final result unfortunetly the sound is off in a couple areas.

Like the "DANG YOU JOHN COLE" when one guy took another out. Made it funny but my volumes got messed up.

Either way first time with the camera. Remember to hit HQ for the better quality video.

Good shooting and great editing. Thanks for posting it. It sure looks like you guys play rough. The guy in the mustang got hacked a lot. Maybe if he would take that spoiler off he wouldnt get smacked around so much.
