sorry...but nitro VTA ....im in serious envy...can somebody pm me the details and schedule, directions i will make one of those race's in sept

I'm sure with a really good driver, it would make a slight difference in the first few laps, until the tires heated up on their own.

Plus, I don't treat our track with any additives (i.e soda) for what it's worth....

Still a bit much for VTA racing though....

i'm not a rubber guy (nor am i ray murray ), but given that vta is a heads up start EVERY round, i would think that being ready at the tone would more than just a 'minor detail'. in fact, i lost my first ever vta race when i spun out in the first turn, (after tq'ing by a good margin).

again, this is on the presumption that the vta tires do, indeed, perform better after a few laps. for my particular setup/car that weekend, that was the case.

man, that was a ton of fun.
