Local VTA race report from Friday at Indy Slots is...20 cars showed up - 3 heats/mains. (Total of 43 entries for all classes)

Had some very close racing in the "B" main. All cars in the "A" main were qualified close. The winner of the "B" bumped up and won their 1st ever "A" main.

Overall good night of VTA racing.

Tonight I took my VTA car down to the once a month cruise in. I literally fished for people that might be interested in racing, among those that were displaying their real Mustangs and Cudas. I had loads of people talking to me, and asking the big three questions.

That 8mm ride height seems really high. Especially for 17.5 and 6 or lipo.

Gotta distinguish them from a normal Rubber TC SOMEHOW. May as well make 'em skyscrapers.

Actually, when we've done outdoor demos that's what we end up doing. It's invariably on ROUGH pavement so we crank the shocks/springs to full height and go at it. They actually still handle reasonably well. And we're all set high so, again, no one's at any advantage or disadvantage 'cause everyone's there.

We have the 8mm because they dont feel like touring car anymore. And the chassis is not wearing so fast.
The cars are realy fun to drive and they are fast also.

VTA Report from sunny (and FREAKING HOT) Palm Bay, Florida.

Six people were able to make it out today. Pretty good considering it's Mother's Day and the drifters set up a meeting at the local hobby shop.

Two new people showed up and displayed some excellent driving skills. Dino's car was the one to beat and turned some excellent laps. Everyone displayed some great and CLEAN driving. Most of us are running 21.5 lipo at a 5.0 FDR since we're on a smaller, technical track.

We're still trying to figure out when we'll meet again since the 4th Sunday of this month is Memorial Day weekend.

If you're along the Space Coast or Treasure Coast in Florida contact Evoracer for more details!

Once again, Dino, excellent outing!!!
