That is what I like best about the VTA rules - the technical restrictions really make for competitive racing that rewards driver skill!

Indy Slots was fun. It's always good when I beat TheRCShack man.

I might be able to get 3-4 more guys to trek over again before they switch over to dirt. It'll be close because we're planning trips to Underground and Harbor in April after the Nationals.

Would've been an even 30, but I broke out in practice before the racing started.

Well I finally got the A-Main of the USVTA class from the Magic City Classic on Youtube. Wish I would have gotten the big 15 car club spec one, but camera didn't have room for it. *sigh*

Not trying to speak for Indy personally, but at our track (Indy Slots)the car makes no difference. Our two fastest drivers race TC3's and 4's. Any car can be competitive with proper setup and smart driving.

I (Cody Woods) took 1st with a FT TC4, and Brian Smith took 2nd with a TC3.

Actually I am more curious what the the top 2 cars set up were as far as:

Model:
ESC:
Battery brand and NIMH:
Spool, diff or one-way:

Any idea?

I'm not sure about Brian, but for me....

FT TC4 (no chassis spline, running standoffs)....
LRP Sphere....
Orion 4800 LiPo....
Good 'ole ball diff....
