You better put that pile away and get the micro ready so you can take it like a man when we come up there next week

Very nice lines. Your car is hooked up. Nice clean racing.

There are times when the LHS price is out of line. But most often our hobby shop is well priced. When I do pay a little extra at the LHS iT's like paying some to keep his track open so I can race.

There's a difference between a little extra ( which I gladly pay ) and twice as much.

I know that, I meant it's odd because I wonder how many they need on the shelf before they post on their website it's "available", and when they post it's not available?

Think they get 40 of them stacked up then the HTML is changed and once the 39th is sold it gets changed again?

Stormer showed ONE of the 21.5/HAVOCS in stock yesterday, I think their price is about a buck 35. So pretty close to Tower's... But I'd hit Rockin' Bob up too if your LHS can't get them for the same price.

I asked OUR LHS and they said they are priced so they could also sell them for the 149.99 that NOVAK Had them listed on SHOPATRON for.

With a combo for THIS price, virtually nobody except those of us who are DEAD broke can complain it's TOO EXPENSIVE to get into Brushless/LIPO racing. The CHEAP ORION 2400 isn't legal for the VTA cause it's not ROAR Legal, but the cheap Yeah Racing 3200 IS ROAR LEGAL now and that battery works great too.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

Joe, I think I'll give my wife a big kiss for you. This makes my day. Those batteries are freakin' awesome. Now they need to get to work on their 3600s, 4000s and 5000s.

I cant compete with it . That is why I just do special orders now and not keeping stock in the store anymore .
I always enjoy the customer who you spend time with answereing questions about products and pricing and then goes home and orders it on-line because they had a $XX.XX dollar off email coupon and then expects you to bend over backwards to help them set it up.

We try to be within 10% of the on-line, but like you said some are selling cheaper than I buy for, and buying direct from the manufacturer is no better as the discount level is usually off of MSRP not street price.

I have actually let my stock drop down as well except for what we go through on a regular basis to support the patrons of our racing facility.

Default Weight

Can somebody give me an idea how much weight I have to add to my TC5 to make it legal for VTA? Its a lipo/21.5 car with a trackpower 4900 battery. I don't have a scale and want to get it close enough until I get to the track to weigh in. tia, Nick A.

Probably around 50g's depending on the chassis, (ITF vs STD), and body choice. Pegasus bodies are much lighter than HPI or Parma.

My TC5 is at 1460 w/HPI Camaro, 5300 lipo, ITF lower and std upper decks and 42g's of lead.

Depends on how much shoo goo you add to the front end of the body!

Eric's 50 grams is probably pretty close.
