weight really isn't an issue. An old pro 2 weights much less than the losi type-r.

hobbytown glen burnie had 'weight rewards' for the 1st 1/2 of the yr then canned it when they found that the guys got faster adding weight to their car since it began to handle much smoother.

At The Gate I did beat Haynes in one aspect of VTA - my car was 1648 grams! I finished 4th in the A-main. My car was very good at moving other cars

ha got you beat mine was 1688... I added 2 cells as weight to balance my 006 xray out....

oh on another note had fun running with you kregger in the "B" main. I was just glad the gayte did have some gay hat to wear for the BQ...

deciding on trying to run it again at snowbirds should be an intersting class. might try to get a car ready before I go there instead of borrowing one after the 2nd round and trying to make the "A"

So will a TC3 FT be competitive? Or will I have to purchase the latest, greatest touring car chassis?

C'mon Nash, put one together. I'm hoping to make both Novak and the Birds so I have two chances to pound you with the Firebird.

Too bad I missed the HC, sounds like it was a good time.

Stormer has a couple of Novak 21.5s in stock...

...and as usual, you can always buy them directly from the Novak online store. There should never be any issues getting a hold of a spec 21.5 if you want one. Stop using availability as an excuse.

All of the HPI bodies will benefit from reinforcing the front end with mesh drywall tape and shoegoo. Sure, it adds weight, but the body lasts a very long time.

no 12th scale at novak so you won't see me there to race. but I will be at snowbirds and depending on if I get my new CRC cars soon I may just run 19t and stock 12th and TA with my xray balanced right.
