Is the Ted Nugent playing over the loud speakers when you hold races?

If you have a clear favorite to win do you play Stranglehold?

Hey guys what do you think of a TA04 for Trans AM.

I found a cheap one that is actually still new. I know they are old, but how to they perform?

it will be great. Chassis choice isn't much of a factor if you know or can learn how to tune it.

I've seen everything from TT-01's and 7 year old HPI and 400 dollar Schumacher chassis' all do the same lap times on the same day.

And isn't that the beauty of VTA?

Im running 4/27. I think most are using that set up. Several have moved to 4/17.5 and one or two are on Lipo/21.5. Pretty mixed results. Pretty even.

Anyone else using the Novak XBR with 21.5/lipo in the VTA? Other than squeezing it into my TC3 (tight fit with full-sized servo and receiver), I've been pretty happy with the performance. Good adjustablility for brakes and throttle response.

I just noticed that LRP has a 2 new sport brushless controllers and 1 retails for under $100. If anyone knows anything about these and if there are any adjustments for drag brake I'd like to know. Not sure about anyone else, but I'd like to have a totally blue TC3 to run

Gary April, one of the quickest Trans-Am drivers in the Seattle area, runs the TA04 in his TA car. It works great for him.

A couple I race with run that combo and it works fine for them. I've used both a Novak SS and SS+ with 21.5/lipo. Both worked great its just you have to be a little creative to get the brakes you may want out of the SS.

I'll jump on the bandwagon saying it's a fine choice. I run a TB-02 which is a pretty basic Tamiya car (got it NIB for $50) and it's awesome for T/A. I think a plastic tub Tamiya kit is pretty much ideal for this class as it's nearly indestructible at these speeds and there tends to be a bit more...er..."rubbin" than usual.
