And a gratuitous shot of the now roller EC:

Actually....unfortunately the ones on the large decal sheet is incorrect (incorrect fit for the body). So please use the one's on the smaller attached sheet. We have since corrected the sheets for future productions.

Also..FYI if you or anyone else needs extra HPI Vintage Body Decal sheets (for extra sponsors etc) let me know at [email protected].

I did most of the 1/10 scale vintage body decals (except the Camaro...)

We also have this extra sheet that we've included with some of the Nitro 3 kits, it has extra sponsors and race numbers:

Thanks,

AH

Cool, but will not ever be legal in U.S. Vintage Trans Am carpet racing. The treaded D-compound tires work perfectly. No need to use those at all.

Ooooooohhh!!! Those are really nice!

Andy, please tell us that HPI is at least THINKING about a realistic Boss 302 or an early AMX Javelin. There is definitely interest!

Sa-weeeeeet!

Id be willing the shape of the body prohibits a one piece design.

Thanks for the information Andy! I called HPI about that and got a less than spectacular answer, haha.

Honestly, the 2-piece bodies are not a big deal. Small pieces of servo tape, then plastic 4-40 nylon screws and nuts to hold it all together. They will never come apart. My 'Cudas look pretty dern good, even with the bolts riveting the rear bumpers on.

I'd rather see multi-piece, accurate HPI bodies (as opposed to one-piece fugly things that Parma makes), than try to stretch a negative Lexan pull to the point where the corners of the fenders are so thin that they are almost non race-worthy. To tell you the truth, I like the separate spoilers, too. Gives you lots of options and looks, as well as minor tuning aids.

I didn't see it listed in your legal bodies but Pegasus makes a 2nd gen Camaro with a molded in rear spoiler... it looks pretty good.

Is it a 200mm body? Are there any photos of it anywhere?

I'm afraid that if there is limited availability like I think there might be with that, it's probably not going to be allowed.

Would be cool to see, though.

Horizon carrys it, so you should be able to get it through your LHS (where I got mine)

I think its called "70SS body", no mention of Camaro (took me a while to find it)

Yup its 200mm.... give me a few minutes and I'll get you some pictures (its still clear)

They make a Challenger or Cuda too... but its called something else.
