Thanks to the everyone involved in the brushless and Lipo rules decisions for ROAR. The future for electric RC racing has never looked better.

Now it is up to racers and race promotoers to only allow "legal" BL motors in their racing programs.

I couldn't agree more. Novak will be submitting our stock winds for approval as soon as ROAR publishes the official rules.

This being said, will the existing 17.5 change? Or, are the rules written based on the existing 17.5 you have now- they just need to be submitted (doing due process)? (I ask as we're all gobbling up 17.5's, particularly on the oval scene)

how much faster is a 13.5 bonded rotor than a 27 turn, is it close . i know that the 13.5 sintered is faster.

I soo wish they would so what ever track you attend will be same. Problem is my area there all thinking there ahead the game and there trying to re event the wheel ...I could only wish as that would make classes grow.

FDR at 4.44 is what I used (rubber tire on ozite) and it could eaisly take more I am a huge fan of this motor. If you get in the low to mid 5's it is very anemic and slow motion like (Im sure others that know me will vouch for that from last night)

I very seriously doubt that any track owner will turn a racer away under any circumstances.....they will go hungry (so to speak) sooner or later if they do

It needs to be a national thing, I do agree

At my local track there were a couple of racers who bought 13.5 brushless motors in the summer (myself included) for testing and after that testing we decided to hold off on ROAR approval. I'm glad we did.

Our understanding is that our existing stock wind motors (21.5, 17.5, 13.5, 10.5) conform to all of the upcoming ROAR stock brushless rules.
