Default Hot Bodies Gumballs Racing Slicks

Are they any good as i have wasted close $250 on different tire does anyone know if they are good?

As the much more tires even with tire warmers set at 5 more degrees than the track temp

Or can you recomend any other rubber tires?

If you run at a track you should be able to ask what the locals are running and be good to go.

Don't ask us...ask your local fast guy what to run...we don't run at your track.

YOUR not the FAST Guy. Being fast down the straight means "Nothing"... as AdrainM said, speak to the people that place in the top 3rd. I'm assuming you're from Melbourne, which track do you run at and I could give you some names of the decent mod drivers that run or have run at that track?

But from what you've said already, tyres can only do so much and if your setup is really, really bad, don't expect miracles from the tyre. Also, the insert is (a lot of times) more important then the tyre. From what I understand, Take-off CS27 or Sorex 28R are well liked down there.

PS> I'm surprised you're not an expert at this as you are with "Second-hand Stuff"

Regards,
Peter

I have a well run in motor, so it is a quik motor

Thanks peter i have a really good set up as that was the first thing i questioned but it was not the full problem but now i have found that my set up that wants to slide least with my car. Why do you assume that i live melbourne australia. Do i know you? Sorry about the tire warmers but no offence but i hate people who load there old stuff at more than rrp on newbies that dont know better. As that happened to me!!

At least say where you race , like the town etc..., as this can give us some more info on a type of tyre (heat range) ,

How can the fast guy run a mini we arnt talking about mini class here are we???

you could Ask someone that races in stock or mod tourer that does well..

Also Sorex is easy to get, just use the net....
