Default Will the real Matt Francis please stand up

Ok so i am hearing and reading so much about this guy and all the cool accessories he had out for the Losi XXX-S....trouble is, he is no where to be found. Did he die? Go on a subway diet? Get a job at a local porn shop? Or just thought the xxx-s wasn't worth the time and stopped making his products. Either way, anyone know where, if you still can, get his stuff?

Thats no moon...its a SPACE STATION!

Last I had heard or knew Matt was retiring the end of 06 from R/C Racing...and going into the Real Estate field in Northern California...

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

Too bad about your timing. I just handed off the last of the MF XXX-S aluminum parts still in my possession. The servo mounts were really nice. The rest was mostly bling-bling as Randy Caster would say.

Matt was (is) a phenom at wheeling his cars...on-road and off-road. I was fortunate to see some of his epic duals with Barry Baker.

I do occasionally see some of the Trinity-made MF signature parts on eBay. Look there or go onto Todd Hodge's forum to ask him. Todd should know.

Still Bill (formerly XXX-S Bill and JRX-S Bill...LOL)

housing market does not suck, people are just starting to come to their senses and won't pay $400.000.00 for a 30 year old house that cost, 18.000 new.

Here in S.Fla things are slow, but the market isnt dead either. Banks no longer will allow greedy realitors to tag on an extra 200g for that 30 yr old house, now even new homes loans are getting turned down from developers posting unrealistic values. I think the banks said "enough" finally!

Ya, check ebay for francis stuff, or maybe search online places like stormerhobbies.com might have some stuff left over.

Default Matt on rctvlive.com

Matt is selling real estate in Cali and will be on www.rctvlive.com in an upcoming episode. He is/was one of the nicest guys in RC. Truely a great ambassador for the hobby.

Dang! Forgot about the arm mounts. Those were the best things of that MF XXX-S parts series.

Check Hobbytown USA on Va Bch Blvd. Sean was just cleaning up some of the old inventory and may still have it in the back. I know that he had some Dynamite parts for the XXX-S. I'm sure there were some MF parts also.

Besides the real estate thing, Matt does go at it with mountain bikes. He now lives in San Francisco and has easy access to the dirt trails in the Marin Headlands (north of the Golden Gate Bridge) and Mount Tam. He's definitely keeping lean and mean.
