Default JRX-S owners, can the chassis hold a large li-po pack?

I'm looking for a belt touring car that can hold my li-po packs. However, they're larger than a 6 sub-C pack in all three dimensions. The packs are 162mm x 48mm x 24mm. Can it fit in the central battery compartment in the JRX-S? A normal 6 sub-C pack is 138mm x 44mm x 23mm. It's between this car and the TC5 since my local hobby shop doesn't stock Tamiya and Xray

JRXS or the Type R? Lipo in a hard case will not fit in the JRXS first gen car without serious modification which makes it not worth it. It should fit in the Type R. I can't totally say since I don't run Lipo so I don't give it any thought.
JRXS Type R, I have four of them!! ;) ( Yes, I still have them!!)And racing one of them again!!

The Type R then I guess. So the battery compartment is larger than that of the regular JRX-S. I'm assuming your 6 subC's fit with a lot of room to spare? Can you take out a ruler and measure the compartment to see if my pack dimensions would fit?

I'm just got a Maxamps 5000 2cell lipo and it was a drop-in. Run the wires up through the rear of the top deck near the diff. You do need to install a small piece of lexan on the left from corner to prevent the pulley from rubbing the battery, but otherwise a sweet set-up, almost 10 minutes of runtime with mod brushless.
