Default 64 pitch question ?

Hi everyone,

is it a bad idea to run 64 pitch whit robinson pinion on pavement ! they will broke ???? please help me !!

That's what I'm using but I have a sealed drive train (XXX-S) Hopefully someone with a TC3 or any other car will be able to give you some helpful input.

if you are running mod motors i would stay away from 64 p as it might chew up your gear, but 64 p does provide smoother acceleration and runs more effeciant compared to 48..just my 2 cents.

I also have a xxxs ! but I use 19t spec motor !!!!! so do you guy think it will be ok ?

I have run 64 pitch on all of my touring cars, and only had a sealed drivetrain on my Street Weapon, never had problems chewing up gears, even with mod motors.

I have run 64p all the time. I run them in XXX-S, TC3, mission etc. If you know how to set a gear mesh you won't strip 'em.
