Default MAXIMUM ROLLOUT ?? MM - NOVAK 3.5R OR LRP 3.5

HI GUYS,

I want to know who is running a Novak 3.5 or LRP 3.5 and what is their rollout. I want to run a LRP 3.5 at a rollout of 25mm, people say don't go over 20mm - 22mm.

So, could people tell me what mm rollout they are running on their 3.5 bl setup? Or what is the maximum rollout they have run without any worries of frying something?

Cheers,

P.S I am going for TOP SPEED BASHING so I want about 100km/h+ out of my Xray T1 FK04 with a LRP 3.5 bl setup.

Would this be ok:

1/10th Pan Car with a Novak 3.5R bl setup
1.0 gearbox ratio considering it is direct drive
48P - 90t spur and a 16t pinion ?????

I calculated a rollout of 35.19mm
This sounds way too high but these are the stock gears. Could the Novak 3.5 handle this?

I run an 84 and 13 in my pan car, I've run an 84 and 15 and the motor got quite hot (but it was run for almost 15 mins in a nitro final). The car hits just over 100 km/h with an 84 and 13. You could try the gearing you mentioned but i would only run it for 5 minutes at a time. If you are getting the LRP you will have to watch temps closer as the LRP doesn't have a temp cutoff. If you haven't seen an rc car go 100 km/h then you be surprised.

I used GearChart.com and apparently my pan car would about 120 km/h. I worked out the speed of the car by timing the car over a measured distance and I worked it out to be 107 km/h (thats with a lola body with a gurney flap).
