Is your servo horn straight up or did you leave a angle like the book said ?

When you said you tried everything and doesn't make a difference, did it get worse on some setups? If your answer is no, then we are all as puzzled as you are. There is no way on earth you can change setups without affecting handling in a positive or negative manner...

The issue isn't the car then.

dontfeelcold, Is your rear diff, belt and everything working. Is the rear putting power down to the track. How are you running drivetrain, ie. front spool oneway rear diff, middle oneway, etc. Really sounds like only the front end is pulling. Hope that helps.

I think its time to start over again. check to make sure that your servo saver isnt giving out or something weird though im sure that you already have.
I would once again suggest my reedy race set up with these changes to it. make sure that you only have 2 or 2.5 deg of rear toe with that set up, and make sure the rear shocks are layed in all the way (i never change that), also instead of 500 rear oil use 400 (XRAY OIL) 40wt other brand oil is not that close. put some fresh tires on the car. 3degs of front camber and 1deg of rear camber.
Make sure to copy it all, if it still dosent steer I dont know. my car would spin out.

with what you were saying before, a stiffer rear spring and really soft front spring will usually make the car push. 2.6R and 3.0F is just the best ballance for rubber tires.
Also if your doing something like putting weight in the front of the car, Take it off. that will make it push worse.

best of luck!

maybe you will just have to send it to me

After I personally deliver my own car, are you going to add in some driver lessons?

I will give your suggestions a try.

How tight do you suggest to run the diff? I usually run my diff as loose as possible (without it slipping).

Thanks

Paul, what shock rebound % do you run on your foam tire car? Looking for a good starting point for this year. Didn't fool with it last year.

It's the year 2010. Shouldn't vacuum cleaners be quieter by now?

Paul...

Have you ran the Nemesis 17.5 motors by any chance? How do they compare to the Duo2 motors? I was getting ready to put in an order for 3 Duo 17.5's but this press release for the Nemesis motors just came out and got me excited. Would you say my money is better spent on the Nemesis 17.5's?
