Are you using the original oring for your shocks or could it be a diferent brand like MM, Hara tamiya...
Different legnth drive shafts do make a difference, lately i have been running the 52mm most of the time, the car seems more predictible for me with the 52mm. or if you were speaking shock shafts i always run the complete kit Xray shocks.
I use the stock Xray o-rings in my shocks, i have never had any complants with them. i have never tried any other brands.

Hi Mike, if you are talking Foam tires its easy (just go softer rear spring with med oil untill it stops, and maybe a little softer front also. but with rubber tires it is much more difficult, softer usually helps but will not always cure it. for me their is no set way to stop it, you just want the car to roll evenly, when my rubber cars traction roll its usually because it is rolling too much over the front end or the rear, so i would start by making it roll evenly over the side. and if all else fails you could just super glue the side wall of the front tires. so basicly just start trying stuff. maybe someone else could help on here too. wish i could be more help.

Default Paul, qustion about the 008 aluminum brace?

Hey I run in the vintage class and I noticed my car seems to stop in the corners. I don't understand why. My question is should I go stiffer front springs or try the aluminum front brace?

These temps are based on a 6 cell/2 cell lipo 5 minute run. 4 cell applications will be a lot cooler even 8 minute 12th scale. My motor at the Halloween race in 10.5 was coming off at around 120 after 8 minutes.

Thanks for the info. I have just under 180 at 10 mins. Is this OK for my 13.5? If at 10mins, I stop and take a break, when can I start running again? Ambient temp are hot here, I don't think I can gear up anymore though I think I am at full speed just before half the straight. Tried adding another tooth, but ended up 190+ at 10 mins!

Dang, I just found some scratches on the nice blue endbell on my 13.5 from today's run!

Thats a hard one to answer. without seing the car go i cant say exactly what to do. i would try a stiffer front spring if that helps it means that the car was diving over the front too much, but keep in mind that that will make the car a little more edgy on center. are you rinning a spool, 1way, or diff? how is the rest of the set up? thanks

Is there any particular reason that you run for 10 minutes? If your using a lipo be sure to be careful not to overdischarge it as it can cause damage. 180 is pushing the limit of the motors but if you have ran it there all along then it should be able to withstand it. I would wait till everything cooled down before running it again just to be safe.
