ok the set up you posted worked ok. i took the rear sway bar off for more rear end grip. i have silver springs on the front and gold on the rear. i lade the shocks all down one hole. i have a front diff. i just could not get the spool to work. i think i might try the spool one more time now that i have the rear sway bar off. that seemed to help the most. BUT STILL FLIPING OVER!!! my camber is 2 1/2 rear and 1 1/2 front one more race left. is this a good set up for out door.

Xraysteve: Well, im glad that you are having a little success. Keep trying stuff. for ashpalt you will most likely want to again try to run a spool and a lower front inner hinge pin (lower front roll center). you could start their for asphalt or download the General ashpalt set up on the Xray site.

Paul,

On an 08 EU, (running high bite asphalt); I am using a fairly basic set-up, but Ive got an on power push that I have been fighting. Also, its killing front tires. One of the things I want to try is changing the ackermann. However, I keep getting conflicting opinions on which way to go with it. I think I should move the rack forward to #4 or #5. (currently at #2)

Does this sound right to you? Do you think this will make much difference in the tire wear?

(as I mentioned the bite is high, and the layout has several long sweepers and only one chicane)

Ray J, Racingboy14: Yep, hope to see you both their.

Mrcguy:I dont know that ackermann is going to be the ticket in this situation. you need to find steering, then you wont have to use as much steering throw and your front tires will wear better and not overheat as much. I get to run so little on asphalt that im not sure what adjustments will be the most effective. here is what i would play with first, rear toe, 1deg rear camber/2deg front camber, and front Kick up. you will most likely have to A B alot of adjustments and find small increments of steering in many different places.

Turd:lol

Eflight300: I would start by trying some of the same things that i talked about with Mrcguy above. I would try it with the standard set-up before changing much.

Thanks

All xray needs now is an 8th scale onroad car, they have every other scale and catergory that is raced covered.
