Steve: Wow, thats awesome. why didnt we think of that.lol

Lazer guy: Without going their and looking at what is happening i cant say what the problem is. We all know that the xray is a great car so maybe you can help them.
Do they have the same front drive as you?spool, diff, oneway. are their bodies low? is the set ups crazy? What tires? sauce? Check their tire glue seems. make sure that the cars have good rear traction. Last resort, get a bottle of glue and glue up the sidewall of the front tires all the way to the contact patch.

The Bear: Hi. I dont run roll atall. its a style thing but for me i dont like it. if the car needs to roll free in a stock class i just wont lift all the way or not as long in the corner. Maybe i would run a little creep if i was on big track running a one way.

Itchy: i think that you might be able to get away with switching the fronts. i know how you feel.

Paul,

I have a 1/12 scale question for you if thats allowed...

I noticed at Cleveland that you were runnng your servo flat instead of in the conventional position on you Gen-x. I assume you have tested both ways. Why do you like it better? Just curious as we are kind of toying around with it as well.

Thanks

Thank you Paul L
I will check all the things you have suggested, I know the xrays are good cars. These guys have been able to stop the traction rolling but then they push or the back swings out.
Thank you.

adam - i stand corrected. the intersection of all all three lines lowers with inclination, but the r/c does still indeed rise (albeit less when the arms are already pointing up). no worries, i'm all for correcting errors.

**the important point is that the lower pivots are going to have a much larger effect, which is why that is generally termed as raising or lowering the roll center.**

like paul stated, try it on the track. moving the pins produces very obvious changes in chassis roll. most times, putting in camber gain seems to make the car roll more despite the marginal increase in r/c. so for the links, the change seems more to do with contact patch (maybe?) than roll.

seaball: everything sounds good to me. Simply put (I THINK) the lower pins are to adjust the roll center it self and the upper link is more to adjust where the roll center goes during travel and camber gain the same time.
