Congatulations on your podium finish Paul. What speedo were you running and can you post your speedo setting for 10.5 class.

Looking more specifically at punch settings, dragbrake, and full brake settings.
and I'm also want to know if you mess around with the setting from track to track or do you just have a setting you like and stay with it?

crisis641: I ran a 4.0, but i think that the safest bet is a 4.5 geared a bit higher. on my xray i would start a 4.5 at 116/24 with a 57mm tire and it should be fast. 4.0 116/23, 3.5 116/22. that will be close for the average size track.

francis M: Thanks, i run the Lrp sphere tc spec and used the same settings for both mod and 10.5.
They are: 2,3,1,0 I did not do a whole lot of testing with this but it seemed to function well.

nexus: i did do a little bit of testing with the speedo, it has its good and bad points but overall functions well, over the past two years i have been running Lrp and have had the fewest speedo problems ever.

What are the effects of antisquat, kick up, antidive, and prosquat. Also when would you use these on rubber carpet or asphault.

Thanks
Bryan

team midget,
Anti dive: should make the car transfer less weight over the front tires under deceleration and make the car more stable. it should give the car less steering entering the corner and sometimes results in more exiting steering.

Kick up: will make the car turn in harder and it will allow more weight transfer over the front end, it will make the car go over bumps better. should give more steering in to the corner and center but sometimes less exit steering, normally harder to drive.

as for anti squait and pro squait, it becomes more difficult to tell a big difference when changing these (do to the rear wheels not turning the car). I have been all over the board with this stuff recently but i just like flat pins. the biggest thing that i notice when changing this stuff is exactly what they are called(anti squait, pro squait) i just dont bother much with this anymore because anything but flat pins feels inconsistent for me to drive.

Rkesler: in that post i was refering to any kind or amount of verticle pin angle in the rear. as for the height of the pin i normally use the low or mid blocks all the way around in the rear.
