Default DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT? 120 KP/H IN A XRAY T1 WITH 6CELL 86T 25T

HI GUYS, IF I WERE TO USE A NOVAK 3.5R BL SYSTEM WITH A 48P 86T SPUR, 48P 25T PINION, 63MM FOAMIES AND A 6 CELL BATTERY IN A XRAY T1 WITH AN INTERNAL GEARBOX RATIO OF 2.125 WOULD IT REACH APPROX 120KPH? THE 3.5 DOES 10,500 RPM TO EVERY VOLT. TIMES IT BY 7.2 YOU GET 75,600 RPM. I CALCULATED IT ON THIS WEBSITE:
http://www.rcracing.com/Page.cfm?InfoID=1100

COULD SOMEONE CHECK IT FOR ME AND TELL ME IF I HAVE GONE WRONG SOMEWHERE?

THESE ARE THE DETAILS REQUIRED TO CHECK ESTIMATE SPEED:
CAR: XRAY T1
TRANNY RATIO: 2.125
SPUR: 86
PINION: 25
TIRE: 63
RPM: 75600

CHEERS

If the calcs are correct, they would also take into consideration the drag of the drivetrain, and aero drag, too. You can't go by the no load speed rating of any motor to raw calc final actual speed. The same motor loaded down with the weight of the car and friction of the tranny/aero will not reach the no load rated speed.

good luck.

have you spilt milkshake on your caps lock key?

lol :P theres lots of factors you havn't taken into account. drag increases exponentially, so its nothing at 24mph, but at 124 its a huge amount.

yes ya calculations are correct....but as it says in the above posts...there are many factors which will slow u down....and they are listed above!

dont 4get the amount of stress you are putting on the motor/esc becaues of the high ratio.....so if u do end up doing this......remember stage the throttle...first 10% then 30% then 50% for example....

dont go straight to 100% coz that is a good way 2 blow the esc....!

good luck !!
