Default Trinity... New home of the IB 4600

Trinity is the new exclusive importer for the IB 4600 and many other soon to be announced Intellect products. I will have updates, tests, and as much information sharing as I can in the very near future. Jim Dieter

IB cells are some of the most dangerous cells on the market today. Lately I seem to see at least one cell blow up per week at my local track. Why would I want to bother with them? Especially since most club racing now allows lipoly. Congrats for buying a goose-egg.

They used to have exclusives on ALL brands of batts (Sanyo,Panasonic, GP...). I remember Schumacher UK had to buy Panasonics from Trinity in the US because Trinity was the only world wide source of Stock Metal Hydrides.

yeah, I know, that's what I'm afraid of again, one company having control of everything.

Why do people insist on complaining on every battery thread. There are plenty of other threads for you people to whinge and whine on. The bloke stated trinity was the importer. Nothing else. The past IB's were definitely a problem. These cells are supposed to be much improved so if you dont want them how about all the doomsdayers shutting up untill other people test them and prove the goose egg either gold or lead.

I've tested everything, the new generation IB and EP are very much improved. When I started racing and testing cells back in 79, I never dreamed we would be at this level of performance. The old yellow sc was the first big revolution.....1200 mah

So I guess IB didn't like that SMC refused to accept the junk cells and sent them back. They found a company now that will take whatever they make. Probably mean more junk IBs.

I have also tested some of the new 4600's. Don't knock them until you try them..

I'll give them a try as long as the prices doesn't go up with the change in distributors... From what everyone else have posted, the new IB's are more reliable...
