My black DPD doesn't do 5cell. It recognizes it at 4cell.

Hydrogen isn't an energy source, it's an energy storage chemical. Fossils fuels, and the world as we know it: T minus 50 years and counting.

Does this deal for IB and EP cells only cover the US?

Do UK matchers have to get their cells through Trinity?

Hey George, im good man. how are you and your family doing, i hope well. PM me so we can get in touch. paul

Flying 5: as far as i know cells will be easy to get at a fair price. and if their is one thing that i know Trinity knows is that Electric racing cant take another hit with its current state, and that measures need to be taken to build it back up.

adamge/chad...mine works on 5. Make sure the contacts hit, with the bar bent over, the cell doesnt hit square in the 5 cell position unless you make sure they are close to the cell.

Well Jim at least it went for a good cause. hehehe

Between him, Paul, David, and Vicki, Will have another generation of R/C racer to watch when we get older.

Nope, I didn't sell it!! I think it's lost in Jim's garage some where as last time I saw it was in the end of Jim's Trinity back from the Birds!! Maybe it went to parts for the hot rod....lol... I still have all my old cars...lol... Want one of those Kenny or a new one??

Jim I noticed you said that out of 30K cells none exploded. I suppose that's good, but I don't think they were exploding on the matchers were they?

I also noticed that you failed to mention that the cells still have an obscenely abnormal SDR (self discharge rate for those not in the battery business) and the SDRs from cell to cell vary far more than the accepted industry standard.

In my professional opinion, I don't believe IB actually fixed the problem, I believe they put a bandaid on it. I'm curious to see what they've done to the vents in an attempt to lessen the off-gassing of electrolyte.

BTW Jim, If going back to Trinity is what works for you or your situation, then I respect that. But for me, as a consumer, I still haven't forgotten what Ernie did to Josh, and while some may say Trinity's double-talk marketing and completely immoral trashing of competitors is "just business" or "how they make a buck", I for one don't appreciate it and I think it's a smack in the face to a man of integrity like myself. After seeing the tactless posts Chad has made in other threads, you can rest assured that any fleeting consideration I had to forgive Trinity's past and consider purchasing a product with the Trinity name on it has been erased from my mind permanently.
