imo, go for the latest, go for 416.
plus, i really don't like the 05ms mid shaft mount, look bulky ...
i did not own any of these cars tho ... still running my 415msx.

Is the TA05-MS really only $10 cheaper than a 416? Wow.

I'm trying to decide if I want to run my 416 in parking lot races, or pick up a TA05-R and let it take the beating outdoors.

For outdoor BEATUP style....my TA05R is just as fast as any other high end chassis.....without the "worry about scratching the $80 carbon fiber chassis" feeling....$200, can't beat that price tag

I should be there, maybe with the 416 on its maiden voyage. I'd love to take a look. They race a LOT outdoors where I'm going.

For a high-powered mod class, 416 would be the best choice.

I'd take the TA05MS for lower powered motors, especially on smaller courses. I hear the TA05s did quite well at the TCS Worlds where the limit is 19 turn.
