The TC3 is just fine for carpet racing if you have never done carpet before. I have 2 that I am getting back together. I am using the base setup from out of the manual. I then ask around the track for a few setup tips to get me going.

hope this helps. good luck

The TC3 is still a very competitive car at the club level.

Try Purple springs up front with #2 pistons and 50W oil, droop at 6 and ride height of 4.0mm with Double Pink/Orange compound tires.

In the rear, try Red springs with #2 pistons and 40W oil, droop at 4 and ride height of 4.5mm with Double Pink compound tires.

Depending on the layout and traction, try swaybars at both ends.

Good luck!

I bought this for my little brother. He wants to race in the locall indoor track. It has the novak gtb installed. I think he will do just fine. Another questions was what size body needs to be bought for the car. As in what size 199mm or 200mm. Thanks again for the help.

you need a 190mm body, the dna from protoform, or the mowhawk from parma have both been a couple of favorites.

as you go through the car, you should be able to get the car really really free. The tc3/4 is a really good car, but take the bearings out and clean them really good then but ina really light bearing oil, or even some people have used lighterfluid for them. Anyways that thing should roll like a rollerskate when it is done.
