Basicly you need all of the above.
There are tables and chair (pinic tables) but I have only ever seen one racer use them becasue they are on the far side of the track. There are outlets all down one side ofthe track, but you will need a cord to get that juice to your pit. The pinic area is somewhat shaded but I recomend a canopy.

All of this will be provided at the natsm for those who reserve a pit space in the big top.

Default Pit Space Reservations

I keep getting calls, pm's, and email from people wanting to know how to get a pit space. Below is a copy cut from the first post of this thread.

Pits:
We will have a tent large enough for about 120 racers to pit comfortably inside. These spaces will be reserved for those racers who are traveling from outside our area. Event sponsors will have an area reserved for their team included with their sponsorship package. Other racers who wish to reserve a spot in this area may contact the shop to make arrangements. (870-933-0479) The reservation fee, which includes table, chair, power, and protection from the elements, is $10 per person for the whole week. The tent spaces will be reserved (for persons living outside our area) through June 6th. After June 6th any remaining spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis. For racers who live within our region or any racer preferring to pit outside, there will be plenty of space for canopies and trailers. I will have ample AC power for everyone. Compressed Air will be provided, as air compressors will not be permitted unless you are running a generator.

Basically anyone wanting to pit in the "Big Top" must reserve their spot by calling me at 870-933-0479 between Tuesday & Saturday (10am - 6pm).
These reservation fee of $10 per space for the week, can be paid by credit card or check. This fee is to help cover the cost of the rental on the tent, tables, and chairs.

I am working on getting security so that people can leave their stuff over night.

People who plan to pit in trailers or canopies, need only show show up park and set up.

OK another question...

I see Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 1pm.. I know of a few out of town racers coming from a few diffrent states for this event. Us included 10+ hours.. .......IS there any way we can get a sooner opening say 8-9am to allow more track time before racing to log as many laps as we can... I know many of us will be there friday night to get ride over with ,..so early gate opening would be kool....

When are you heading back home? Would running until late Saturday night work as well. I ask because track prep mandates when the gates open.

On another note, the term "gates open", actually just means you can start running at that time. You can set up in the pit area as early as you like.
