John .... to answer your question. After a quick check on the Pro-Line/Protoform website I was able to only find the 1476-01 body http://www.pro-lineracing.com/protoform/index.html. How do you tell these apart? The 1476-00 is the carpet version and the 1476-01 is the standard version. Both will have the 1476 part number molded into the upper left corner of the front windshield. The carpet version 1476-01 will have "CARPET" molded into the upper middle of the windshield. Neither version has passed the GBS (global body spec) and Protoform will need to resubmitt with corrections for this body to be reviewed for approval for sanctioned racing past their current experation dates.

never mind all the roar legal and body crap,

any truth to the rumor that jonesboro is in a dry county, and what exactly does that mean.

It means you can't purchase liquor of any kind in that county for consumption.

the reason i was asking was the holiday inn in jonesboro says it has a lounge, didn't know if i could get a beer or what. so if flying into memphis i need to buy what ever i want before getting to the hotel. its not illegal to drink it is it?

Default alcohol

No it's not illegal to drink, besides in public and driving. The Holiday Inn has a lounge called the mallard. Many restaurants now have private memberships and can serve alcohol. For $5.00 you can purchase a membership. You can purchase alcohol a few miles outside of Craighead county

Default Dry County.

For those who like to get a drink after a hard day at the track, here's the deal on the dry county stuff.

Only places with the proper permits sell booze. Most all of the popular places to eat have it. There are also a handful of clubs that of course have it. Also you can go 10 or 15 minutes in just about any direction and by in bulk.

Its gonna take some time before the stated tire can be decided on as there is still a bit to be done. I have been getting tires in for testing, some of which are new to the market and have never been ran here. It will most likely take until at least mid April before an announcement can be made.

As far a track temps go; It could vary wildly. In June in this area, the air can be anywhere from 78 to 128. Ok so that's a stretch. But really, the track temps will most likely be around 105 to 125.

thanks, i guess it really doesn't matter, even if i knew what tire was the handout i can't really test with it as our weather / asphalt is gonna be different anyway.

I believe you would have to be here by the 20th at the latest, as that is the first day of qualifiers.
