I never would have guessed that more traction would be less abusive on tires.

2006 Paved Nats at Speedworld was sprayed with traction, however I think it was grape soda not VHT.

Well, if it is low abrasive and high grip, then tires can last.. If it abrasive and high grip... well...

We used VHT at one of our big races one year. Traction was insane. Only used one set of tires because the traction was so good. The bad thing was we had nitro cars running on foams. VHT and foam tires. Bad...It ate them up in one run. This will not be a problem since there won't be any foam tires ran.

Im for vht

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let us know, is there any word on what the tires are going to be? Would like to know so we can start getting the cars set up with the rite tires. Also was just wondering about entry fee.
i know it was around $80. but now that we are not useing handout motors is there going to be a break in the price or will it be the same and we recieve 2 of our 3 setts of handout tires. Just wondering.

Well I can tell you that the tire wont be chosen until some testing is done once the season opens. You most likely dont want to stock up on tires just yet anyway, as the stated tire will be available at the track during the event for a discounted rate. As far as the entry goes, couldnt tell ya, I have nothing to do with that one.

I honestly feel its a bit on the abrasive side. However, I have only been to a handfull of other tracks to compare it to.

OOPs! My bad. I forgot about 12th scales. You might be better off with capped tires. I ran some 40 shore foam tires and they melted in one run. I switched to rubber after those $35 worth of tires melted away.
