TC5 and T2 hands down!

on the other side of the spectrum would be the new Losi car

vabroom 11-30-2007 03:24 PM

Convert a nitro into electric maybe?

energyracing 11-30-2007 03:27 PM

Go old school.
XRay T1 evo2 FOC. You can only break that car with a 15lbs sledge.

ASCI_Blue 11-30-2007 04:38 PM

been having good luck with my RDX.

syndr0me 11-30-2007 05:14 PM

Man... I can't agree. The RDX is a glass slipper. Is there a worse arm design anywhere in R/C?

I had a T2R that I sent cartwheeling across the track several times, few head-ons, slammed into the rear wall of the building. never once broke anything. i really like NYLON arms, as they have a bit of give in them, especially with rubber tires. the more graphite the more brittle they are. and you could beef it up a bit with alu c hubs, rear hubs and steering knuckles...

id go with the xray T2....in my opinion

I second that... i have had losi's, corally, xray, and sderpent. IMO, xray is deffinetly the most durable.

...the MOST durable TC I ever ran (Old School) was the HPI Pro2.

I've smashed that thing into more walls..and beat, banged and thrashed on the 2 I have and virtually NEVER broke or bent a thing other than bumpers and bodies.

CREWMAN 11-30-2007 06:26 PM

Never hurt anything on my Xray T2 007. The losi car is pretty nice two

through the years i have learned that there are so many options out there it is hard to pick the "wrong Car" all cars are tuneable

Like others have said the car is only as durable as you drive it. I'd rather Be slow and steady and finish 3rd then be fast aand reckless and finish 2nd. :nod:When you are fast and reckless you not only break the car but loose respect from other drivers.

Just my opinion

At least they're nice enough to sell the arms in 4 packs! :-)

My FK05 was a tank. That thing took abuse. My T2 isnt as durable as that car but will finish more races than other cars that took the same hits.

The original Schumacher Mission is almost unbreakable. The lower hinge pins and upper wishbones can get bent, but the car still drives OK, and will finish the race. The Mi2 is solid, as long as you've got steel or titanium front CVDs.

The X-Rays are probably the weakest cars at our club. At least one retirement each week with a broken wishbone or C hub.

TA05 all the way. ;)

Fastburn 12-01-2007 08:39 AM

ive run xray for 1.5 years now after switching from tamiya.
the 415 was a great car, but didnt like walls(no car does) but ive only broken 2 parts on all my xrays(2 T2's and 2 007's)
very durable car
and I race stock and 19t mainly, but some mod in there every once in a while.
