Default 2008 Novak Race/United States Touring Car Championships

This thread has been running in the Wisconsin section but as we are getting closer to the event I wanted to get one up here.

Brushless motors have become the norm at many tracks around the US and by the end of 2008 it will be the standard used everywhere. I understand that not everyone has a system and that some racers may not be able to afford one, and also that some racers are die hard against change and refuse to embrace or even try this new technology. But it is what I feel is the proper thing to do and I hope everyone has a chance to join us.

So to start out the 2008 indoor racing season, the USTCC Novak race will be the first 100% Brushless race, Here are the classes we will be offering.

Mini- Spec Gear Ratio Novak 17.5 motor. Loaners will be available for those without systems.

17.5 Sportsman Rubber tire* (Novak 17.5 only)
17.5 Sportsman Brushless systems will be available to use for those drivers without them. After the Race they will be available at a special discount![

13.5 Rubber tire (Novak 13.5 only)
10.5 Rubber tire (Novak 10.5 only)
Masters 13.5 Rubber tire (Novak 13.5 only)
13.5 Foam Tire- Any Manufacturers Brushless motor 10.5 Foam Tire- Any Manufacturers motor
Modified Foam- Any Manufacturers motor

I am confident that this years Novak race will be the closest and most enjoyable ever. If you have any questions at all, please let me know.

Join us New Years Day for our Red Eye Race! Same layout as Novak Race After the New Years Day race, those staying for the Novak race can leave their pits set up.

All of us at Trackside are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Novak race.

Thanks
Scotty
