Thanks to the entire staff and Bob Novak for sponsoring this race. I believe this was a big success and next years will be an even bigger success.

Congrats to all the winners!

I can't remember when the last time I got home from a big race and actually wanted to work on my car. That was how much fun and relaxed it was.

13.5 rubber and 10.5 rubber did not appear to be much different. Hmmmm Anyway, nice run Josh H. Cleaned up!

I think only a couple guys could really handle the full power of a 10.5 w/ rubber tires...Dr. Hohnstein for sure, Dibb and Stampfel.

==

I saw a few mains...

Zorc is stupid fast in Mini. Was killing peeps.

Cyrils Kyosho car looked very good. In A1 his car handle way better then Blackstock but Blackstock had ridiculous power that round.

Jucha did well in A1 jumping up to 3rd and finishing 3rd overall

Fred Kellner just rocks for being the only guy with zero sponsors in the A of 13.5 foam.

More interesting is the difference (or lack there of) between 13.5, 10.5, and mod foam. Just looking at the main results it looks like 13.5 and 10.5 are very close and mod isn't that much faster. It also appears that Brad and Micro were almost fast enough in 13.5 to make the A in mod. Of course this is all going off of the main times so it would be interesting to see the final qualifying results.

Of course I wish I was there to get the chance to go to Boulder Junction. Nice run by all.

From talking to a few guys I think this Novak was even more fun for them because they didn't have to worry about motors in between rounds. They could setup there cars and be done. More time to watch other heats/races, talk to peeps, or if you run Hurricane batts play grab ass :P

--

TC5s looked very good in foam and rubber. Looks like guys have sorted this car out nicely

10.5 or 13.5 has to go so that there is more separation between classes.

Will Trans Am be a class in 2009?

Hopefully they were able to get the ESC + motor combos used. LRP TC Specs w/ Novak motors seemed to be a pretty hot ticket. The new Speed Passion GT ESC was in the 13.5 Rubber A. Word is a few GTBs smoked...not sure why....maybe a blue wire was cut :P

Congrats to all the winners. Heck the E Main 13.5 winner in rubber tires got a Xray 008 courtesy of RCAmerica I think!

Top speed on the straight yea...But overall the 13.5 guys could run cleaner through the infield which you can see in qualifying and the mains by the number of laps turned. I believe in the right hands of the top top guys 10.5 is faster but to the rest of the 90% of the racers a 13.5 I think is just as fast or 5cell 10.5

Not to take away anything from that race itself. Being all BL is a huge step forward. I'm glad Scotty did the race this way.

Now if we can get him to allow BL and Lipo for his Stock Rubber Nats

Nice to see the results Nexus, what are the chances of getting a run down of who drives what chassis? Since this was a exclusive type of motor race, I think chassis info would be even more interesting.

It would be nice that when the have the drivers names listed during the heats, if the had some sort of info list by there names, something like,

Paul Lemiux X/T/EP, where its x=xray, t=trinity motor, ep=battery

or something like that, as the top guys seem to change equipment and a lot of us are pretty snoopy kind of racers and want to know.

Had a great time! Once again the race was awesome. I really liked the idea of running brushless for the race and hope to see more races follow. Scotty, Boomer, Sara and crew - great job, super steak, fun racin with ya and smooth race.
