No don't put charge back in if you run it everyday day or couple of days. Storage charge is reccomended if your not going to use the pack for a week or 2.

We got confirmation that the EnerG 4600 cell will be EFRA and BRCA legal.

Hi Danny.

Is that an "official" confirmation from EFRA? Is it possible for you to post it or send me a copy? So I can give it to the Federation here in Norway, and then have a possibility to use the batteries at the upcoming nationals...

I'm not sure what your asking ? Normally AIR is listed as part of the info after a cycle. Normally a 4 cell pack will be in the 5 to 6 milliohm range.

George,

The GFX only gives you total AIR for the pack, not individual cell resistance. If you divide the total by 4, you get average per cell. This number may be slightly more than label values due to slight increase in resistance from solder joints.

Thanks Larry That I knew about the ir for the whole pack. So if one of my packs reads 12 for IR's I have to divide that by 4 and come up with 3. So those that mean the the IR's for the cells are 3.

On a GFX you press the mode button until you get the page that has the cycle info numbers called DAT MODE. On the first page of info you will have the PEAK VOLTS , RIR (Relative IR) and AIR (Actual IR). If you press the page button you will have the AVERAGE VOLTAGE at 1 Volt and AVERAGE VOLTAGE at the cutoff and the RUNTIME.

I am too lazy to fire up my GFX but I am pretty sure there is a setting to turn on the AIR function

Ok Here is what I have as of right now

Pack #1 peak volts 6.05
discharge time 446
sec. 2165
IR's 12
avg. volts 4.68
now I see the IR's that is not as per cell (12) or is that 1.2 IR's per cell Just trying to see if the IR's came up or went down

Make sure that you have the AIR set at on. This is set on the Discharge Page.

What kind of pack are you cycling ? Your voltage number seems way to low for newer style cells.
