Wally the cells you have seen were most likely some 4200s and not the 4600s as we never got enough 4600s to sell. The 4200s were a batch of cells we bought to test and decided to sell this batch and move on to 4600s as most racers seem to think that a higher capacity shrink makes for a better pack.

These Energ-G cells are re-badged EP4200 (not EP4600) out of Hong Kong..done by a HGK broker

They are not killer cells, they are off-brand low voltage 4200 cells that EP
has dumped

Ok well I am pretty sure its illegal to sell something that is not what you say it is especially if your a big name company. So why would they do something like that? What is the best nimh cell out there? Brand wise and I remember someone talking about like eg's or something not ib's and eb's

I have another rumour to start about these cells. I have it from a very reliable source that these are not re-branded GP, IB, EP, Sanyo, Panasonic, Elite Batteries, Ge-pow or even stolen out of a Dewalt drill and shrink wrapped, but they are actually (and I think this is a scoop boys and girls) Ener-G cells!!!

Also apparently, and this is unconfirmed, that these are 4600mah cells rather than 4200mah.

What is really important whoever is not a conspircy about who might or might not make them, or even really what numbers are, but how these cells perform on the track against the other leading cells.

The only real shame I can see is that they might not comply to the new EFRA rules which considering the EFRA official that decides that is also the same bloke as decides the BRCA rules, mean we might not be able to use them in the UK (for BRCA events) meaning they won't get imported into the UK and the battery deal I am looking for in the Eurocup (TCS) next year might have to be for a different cell.

I've tested most cells in the last month since coming back home to trinity. And there are several re packaged cells out there, but the major players are always going to put their own name on what they consider the best cell. We may even bring in some of these discussed cells in for sport packs, but they will have the original shrink on them.
