If I can't get one from Steve, I'll go back to buy Surikarn Evo3, Hara HPI pro 4, or wait for R3.

Either of those two cars I think that you will have a hard time getting.. ...As of now I know that Tamiya has sold only about 10 kits per shop in Japan...and belive me they had orders filled in just a week or two after the news was put out

Well, I have no trouble to get surikarn evo3. I actually can get one right now, but I want to wait to see if I can get the R2 web version first.

I see

Well as of two days ago the only kits that are left for the Orange R2 is the Basisc kit 55000 Yen one..... I don't think that it will be much longer before they sell out

Steve told me he's getting 3 kits, but still not sure can get them in shipment or not. Anyway, I really don't want to go back to surikarn evo3. I don't think that car is worth for $400 usd compare to R2 web and yokomo sd.

Ya'... the Web version comes with all of the Option parts plus sway bars and Alex's own Ti Screw set...you don't need to buy anything for it..

Dave, I have question for you.

The reason I don't want to buy regular R2 is because the motor on left position. Alex Racing believes that it doesn't matter the motor position is on left or right. The torque steering is equal, which is true. Somepeople said R2 don't have any torque steering and that is not true. For shaft drive, don't matter the motor is on right or left. Torque steering will alway there like ghost. Team Associated believes that put the motor on right can help the torque steering a little bit. This can understand by looking the motor rotation and it seems true also. Both are true, but whose theroy is better. I think is Team Associated because I don't see any R2 won any mod high speed race. The torque steering can produce under hight speed instand power like 8 turn motor. I want to get the R2 web because the motor is on right side. What do you think? Is there any companies makes R2 main chassis that put the motor on right side?

Well for me I Love My PAL Barracuda (right side motor same as the Web R2) and I race only 23T Stock class in Japan.....but I do race Mod once every blue moon with a 8T D and a 10T S..and I can tell you that "none" of my Cuda's have any noticeable ammount of torque steer ..

Either way you look at it you could Buy the PAL version or the R2 web version and still make out good because they both come with the same ammount of goodies..it's just that the R2 web has the better A-arms and a little better chassis balance...either way you go you'll be happy with the CUDA's

Nope I mean the Speed Way PAL Barracuda...it was made about a Year ago and it has the same layout as the R2 Web edition
