I agree. Most shops come close to mail-order prices and when you have a problem there are the ones who will help

My local hobby shop is where i bought my gtb package w/ a 13.5 it was only 6$ more than online, not only that but the folks at my hobby shop helped me set it up properly (first brushless outing) and gear it properly for the track as well as provided insight into adjusting my profiles based on my driving style.

Quite a deal for 6 bux i think .

Nice track! It looks like a 1/8th scale track. Very cool.

O yeah...seeing as you live in Italy and we need to lower the trade deficit...and this is IN STOCK in his Local Hobby Shop...

http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebcategory.asp?id=413 I saw them there myself.

I second, third, yea u get the idea, SUPPORT your lhs man, these on-line guyd most of the time dont even stock the stuff they drop ship it from the distributors, so, point is , the time your guy orders it <if he has to> will be the same as the SCAB drop-shipping / killing the hobby,

In Australia hobby shops do not run the tracks or clubs, and the retail price for a GTB + BL motor is AU$600, which is about US$550. There wouldnt be a hobby if it were not for the online stores.

I hear you. I live in Australia as well. We have 3x LHS's in our city and none of them stock xray parts. The aus. distributer wont sell to the public and the local shops wont order for us. You can buy brushless set ups for less than $600 here but still about $500+. Even co27 Team Scream is $120.
I but tyres, paint and other small stuff from them but cant to throw away hundreds of dollars for the other stuff.
